  1. Bonn has managed to shape for itself a new profile as the German City of the United Nations. The Bonn UN Campus is the visible symbol. Since July 1996, Bonn is entitled to call itself a UN City.

  3. More than 1,000 participants from 80 nations, including approximately 330 mayors and other leading representatives at local and regional level, took part in the summit of cities and regions on Sunday, 12 November, in Bonn.
